Removing fallen leaves is an essential job. If they are left, not only are they unsightly and damaging to lawns and plants, but once wet they can pose a slip hazard.

Powered by a 9hp Honda engine, the unit is mounted on a two wheel chassis with an integral tow bar and 8” diameter collection nozzle. A trailer adaption kit is available so that the unit can be fixed to your trailer – or you could consider one of the variety of trailers made by SCH. As leaves pass through the fan they are chopped up, which greatly increases the capacity of the collector, meaning less time is spent emptying. This also dramatically accelerates the time taken to compost.

SCH also suggest the Large Capacity Trailed Collector (Ref TRCL) which collects leaves via the cutter deck or the wandering hose. This unit has a 5.5hp Honda engine and the cage is 890mm(W) x 1120mm(H) x 1580mm(L) and is simple to empty. Wide profile wheels mean this unit traverses rough ground with ease.

You may prefer the SCH trailed sweeper – a 270 litre capacity towed sweeper with a differential mechanism on the brushes, making for a highly manoeuvrable unit, even around tight bends. The height of the unit is adjustable too, so this is a very versatile sweeper.
