When the chain dulls, it is sharpened by simply pulling the PowerSharp® lever for 3 to 5 seconds. No need to ever cut with a dull chain again.

Oregon chose 36V Lithium Ion batteries as the power source due to the inherent advantages over petrol or corded electric saws; Cordless battery saws are much quieter in-use, feature lower vibration levels and do not emit the fumes that petrol saws do. There is no fuel to mix or to store or to transport around in a vehicle, all important considerations for any user at home or work.
