Tendring District Council chooses dCipher™
The largest town on the Tendring Peninsula, Clacton-on-Sea is in the midst of a revival.

One of Tendring District Council’s priorities is to increase the number of visitors to the District to boost trade and the Council identified that by improving wayfinding signage it would significantly improve the visitor experience.

The Brief
The provision of an easy-to-use pedestrian wayfinding system with the following requirements:

- Easy update and interchange of information
- Provision of clear information
- Built in-line with the Equality Act 2010 and Access Rights guidelines
- Highly durable and vandal resistant structure

dCipher™ provided the ideal solution - incorporating brushed stainless steel fascias for a contemporary urban feel and an easy-to-use map system, also tamper resistant fixings and an interchangeable slat and panel system.

Nine dCipher™ units have since been supplied to Tendring District Council, each positioned at a key location to improve visitor orientation and people flow around Clacton-on-Sea.
