Ryetec’s professional flail collectors are ideal for Autumn and Winter renovation and maintenance of grass areas. The machines can be used to scarify, sports fields, golf fairways and any other large grass area to remove the years accumulation of thatch and moss, allowing the grass to breath and reduce competition. The rear roller which controls the cutting height & scarifying depth rolls the ground to flatten any imperfections to leave a striped high quality finish.

Versatile

Available in ground or high lift tipping hoppers and in a range of cutting widths from 1.2 to 2 metres these machines can also be used to cut and collect grass either on regular cutting areas with a very high quality rolled finish or annual conservation work for wild flower meadows. The huge airflow created by the specially designed cutting flails creates a powerful vacuum which is very effective for leaf clearance and the cutting flails mulch the leaves as they are collected vastly reducing their volume and speeding up the rotting process, ideal for onsite composting operations. The vacuum can also be utilised to collect windblown litter and combined with the high lift hopper system the material can be tipped directly into a skip without any manual handling.

Conservation

For large scale wild flower meadows or clearing of invasive species the Professionals larger stable mate the Contractor Collector can be specified which cuts and clear heavy wet material up to 75mm (3”) in diameter
