Grassform have been in the ground protection business for over 10 years, however, we have been around for much longer. We started our company by hiring plant and machinery whilst creating sports fields, building lakes and renovating many other surfaces like car parks and driveways using ground protection in all aspects of work. We soon realised how important it is for construction work and site access.

Years later and hiring ground protection is at the core of our business and with years of hands on experience we believe that as well as having the technical knowledge of plastics, weights loads and the many applications we also have the honest opinion of what is best for the customer.

The range of ground protection mats that we stock have been vigorously tested by us, as are all of our products. By doing this we have filtered out inferior products and have what we believe to be the most reliable fleet in the industry.

Tufftrak is our heavy-duty option. This can take loads of up to 150t with its large 7.5m2 surface area. Whether it’s a crane, 8 wheeler or and rubber tracked machine Tufftrak is the most effective mat for the job.

Trakmats and Euromats are lighter duty mats, but these can still take up to 25t. The mats are used for car and van access over vulnerable ground as well as creating a pad for work areas or car parks. The versatility of these mats makes them one of the most popular products in our fleet.

Portapath is light duty pedestrian matting that can be laid to create pathways through sites and schools, or used as dance floors or marquee flooring. Each sheet is approximately 1.2m x 0.9m but can be unclipped to small tiles of 31.1cm x 8.51cm meaning that you can stagger tiles to create corners or take out individual tiles for tent structure poles or trees.
