CONTRACTORS tend to land sportsturf jobs based on the efficiency of the machinery they have at their disposal – jobs that can be completed quickly save time, money and manpower.

Richard Sharrock project manager for contractors Danvic Turf Care Ltd, a family-run business based in Longridge, near Preston, Lancashire, found this to be the case when the company purchased a Koro Top Drain from Campey Turf Care Systems 18 months ago.

It has since been used by Danvic and other contractors to improve surface drainage on pitches at Sunderland training academy, Euxton Villa Football stadium, Shrewsbury rugby reserve pitch and several of the sports fields at Harrow school.
