McConnel has expanded its range of Remote Control machinery launching two new models and a range of new working attachments.

ROBOMOW and ROBOLOAD made their UK show debuts at EXPO 2014 alongside the new CutterBar, Mulching Flailhead, Forestry Flailhead, and Hi-Tip Bucket.

ROBOMOW has been designed especially for grass maintenance specialists seeking an all-terrain remote control mowing machine.

Featuring a high-performance 33hp Yanmar engine; a low-centre of gravity design, and a choice of tracks, ROBOMOW can tackle slopes up to 55 degrees and improves safety by enabling operators to work outside the danger zone in previously hazardous and restricted access sites.

Designed exclusively for green maintenance, ROBOMOW comes with a choice of flail and rotary heads, while its lean-burn diesel engine ensures the best in fuel-efficiency.

ROBOMOW offers a productive and cost-effective option for those keen to enter the remote control mowing market for the first time.

ROBOLOAD is a compact, remote control material handler that has been designed for industrial and construction sites where its 150m remote control range and all-terrain performance enhances safety in previously hazardous areas.

The heavy-duty loader unit is capable of moving rubble, debris, and materials weighing up to 300kg. 

The ROBOLOAD power unit has been designed for all-terrain performance and offers safe working on embankments up to 55 degrees.

Its powerful 40hp engine and advanced feature set make it ideal for working in challenging environments such as quarries, building sites, and military installations.

ROBOLOAD is also available as a retro-fit for customers who already own a ROBOCUT machine. It is one of five new attachments available for ROBOCUT – transforming it into a multi-purpose all-terrain remote control machine.

Other new attachments include:

• 1.3m standard and heavy duty Hi-Tip Buckets, capable of carrying 300kg loads respectively

• Heavy-duty Forestry and Mulching flailheads capable of tackling the toughest vegetation clearance operations and cutting through branches and vegetation up to 120mm thickness

• A 1.5m Cutter Bar for those seeking a fine-cut finish.
