Huck’s ‘Black Forest’ Bird’s Nest Tower’ s over Witney, Oxfordshire
Dorset based Huck Nets has recently supplied and installed their new ‘Black Forest’ Bird’s Nest Tower at the Burwell QE2 Recreation Ground in Witney, Oxfordshire.
The ‘Black Forest’ Bird’s Nest Tower is also designed and manufactured by Huck. It is the latest addition to their popular range of play equipment that incorporate Huck’s original Bird’s Nest® . It stands at 6.85m high and is able to include a wide range of structural elements for example multiple climbing features, net tunnels, floating bird’s nests and slides. The version purchased by Witney Town Council as part of the new large play area project at Burwell QE2 Recreation Ground includes a slide, a climbing wall, nests, climbing tunnel, rope bridge, vertical tunnel, 6m high look-out point, climbing nets and ladders
“It is an amazing piece of kit” explains Tony Lucas, Huck’s Playground Design Manager. “Like all our play and climbing equipment is has been designed to encourage children’s imagination and their natural need for movement and excitement. It is extremely versatile and because of all the different structural design elements it is suitable for all ages and fun is guaranteed! Probably the most exciting feature is the central climbing tunnel that allows the very top of the structure to be explored. Standing over 6m high this means that the area for miles around can be viewed.”
