Cutting wet grass on extended cutting cycles

Its seems everyone is desperate to save money where possible and the easiest one is not having the grass cut as often, but in a wet and warm growing season this creates a whole raft of problems, not least with unsightly lumps of grass cuttings typically thrown out by overloaded cylinder and rotary mowers.

Time to consider Ryetec’s Triflex, a specially developed fine cutting gang flail mower with independently floating cutting heads. All the advantages of a conventional flail mower, it will cut all kinds of grass even when wet without blocking and spread the resulting cuttings evenly across the full width of the machine, but with a faster running cutting rotor, special cutting blades which can be sharpened quickly and easily without special tools combined with a nearly 50% overlap gives a finish comparable with the best rotary mowers and even some cylinders.

The rear rollers with precise screw adjusters and cutting heads with three axis floating movement allow the Triflex to cut grass to less than 20mm accurately without scalping, and spread the resulting cuttings across the full cutting mowing width even in very wet conditions. Contractors can achieve reliable and more importantly keep customers happy by maintaining extended cutting regimes whatever the weather and growing season throw at them with consistent results.

The simple design and build of the Triflex mean the mower is easily maintained without specialist tools and therefore running costs are kept to a minimum. The ever present danger obstacles in amenity grass areas which range from sticks & stones thrown for dogs, tent pegs from camping and outdoor events, remains of fires and even hidden obstacles such as goal post sockets present little problem to the Triflex mowers robust build and substantial flails which are easily sharpened or replaced if damaged.

Triflex, flexible mowing for all situations, see the video of it at work in some demanding conditions.
