A curved solution with Betoplus – the new plantable wall product in the Betoconcept range

Betoplus, is a new plantable wall system from Grass Concrete’s Betoconcept range. Betoplus offers a curvy solution to low height plantable walls - not only is the face profile curved - it has the ability to articulate in plan figuration.

The Betoconcept range has interlocking blocks made from high strength machine pressed concrete, offer dry build solutions and noise absorption – excellent for external wall solutions in urban and rural areas.

They are easy and quick to construct with a choice of plantable or stone-faced finishes. The contemporary colours; natural, buff and red will fit in with a variety of environments and tone with natural landscapes.

The maximum wall height is 2.4metres and the cells are designed to allow plants to thrive in the ground. The structure allows percolation and prevents the creation of pockets of water, a common cause of failure in other structures.

A variety of Perennials, including alyssum, columbine, cyclamen, thyme, and soapwort are suitable for the system as well as other plants such as roses ensuring an abundant and thriving display all year round.

Betoplus comes in blocks of ten, per metre² and is available in 32 block packs. The empty block weighs 23kg going up to a weight of 50kg when full.
