The new Wessex MTC Sweeper Collector rolls all three jobs into one machine. Designed for the maintenance of sports turf, parks, car parks, private estates and large gardens, the MTC is ideal for collecting autumn leaves, grass clippings and scarifying debris to leave a clean, presentable area. There are two options with this Wessex machine. You can choose self-powered, or trailed. The MTC-120E is an easy to use yet highly effective sweeper collector which is self-powered with a Loncin engine, making it ideal for use with an ATV or UTV. The MTC-120-T is a trailed, PTO driven version for use with a compact tractor. Emptying the collector once full is simply done by rolling the hopper over by means of a hand operated winch for a clean discharge onto the ground. The hopper itself is finely balanced on the pivot point to ensure an easy roll-over. When in operation a spring-loaded pin secures the hopper in position and the brush height adjustment is equally simply done by raising and lowering the castoring front wheels. Because the sweeper collector runs on its own wheels there is no weight on the drawbar of the towing vehicle, for maximum stability, and it follows ground contours accurately. This is a powerful sweeper with four banks of hard-wearing polypropylene bristles fastened into a hardwood strip. The generous length of the bristles give a good ‘flick’ action to make a clean sweep of all types of debris into the hopper and the brush strips are quick and easy to change. Built in the Wessex factory in Andover the new MTC is manufactured using the most modern laser cutting techniques to create a tough and durable machine.
