Front Mounted Mulcher: This high performance attachment and machine combination is fast and formidable, ideal for very intensive vegetation control and land reclamation. The Multihog's low centre of gravity, articulated design and advanced ‘sure drive’ system, provides the perfect platform for heavy duty mulching on a range of slopes and surfaces.
Hot Water Weed Killer: Operating purely on hot water at 98°C to exhaust the plant and root’s cellular structure, this unique attachment is also capable of carrying out graffiti and chewing gum removal sustainably.
De-mountable Suction Sweeper: Transforms the Multihog into a compact street sweeper with front demountable sweeper brushes, and the added ability to gully clean and carry out litter/leaf collection through the wander hose facility. The 360 degree cab with rear view camera offers excellent visibility ensuring a safe and efficient multi-purpose approach to sweeping.
Front demountable Barrier Cutter: Clearance of the carriageway on long stretches can be achieved with one machine and one operative for increased performance at minimum cost. Designed to automatically measure the distance to the barrier and the ground contour through integrated sensors, ensuring consistent cutting performance, complete with a front deck mower capable of verge mowing.
Robust, Reliable & Resilient…
“The Multihog’s versatility and manoeuvrability made it a very attractive proposition and we were impressed with the quality of manufacturing”
Tom Ward, West Lothian Council
“Compared to the tractor type vehicles with rear attachments the Multihog is very comfortable to operate as you have the attachment in front of you and are not constantly straining your neck to look over your shoulder,”
“As you are seated away from the engine the working environment in the cab is very quiet and smooth. Good visibility, air conditioning in the summer and heating in winter reduce risk of fatigue too. The low centre of gravity makes the machine very stable to operate even on steep gradients and I have never felt any risk of getting stuck in even the muddiest conditions as the four wheel drive has a real kick to it.”
Mark Wardle, Nottinghamshire County Council
RENT IS SNOW PROBLEM – SPECIAL SALTEX HIRE OFFER
With news the UK is set for the worst winter in 50 years, should you require any extra maintenance equipment to enhance your resilience the Multihog may be a safe and cost-effective solution.
Robust winter maintenance applications include front mounted snow ploughing, brushing and blowing in addition to simultaneous rear attached applications such as salt spreading or de-icing.
The Multihog has proven ideal for tackling areas which may often be overlooked due to larger machines inability to safely access and manoeuvre such as: C roads, car parks, facilities grounds, rural roads, footways, cycleways as well as busways.
