Major Equipment Ltd is a long time Saltex exhibitor and was looking forward to seeing how the new venue and new look Saltex show would be received by its customers. The company designs and manufactures an extensive range of tractor mounted roller mowers for use at turf farms, polo clubs, schools, sports fields, airports, local authorities and race courses.

The company launched its Swift Roller Mower range at this year’s show. The Major Swift Roller Mowers are available in working widths from 1.9m and 5.5m in trailed, front mounted and three point linkage configuration.

“It was a big investment for us and we are delighted with the number of visitors to our stand to see our new range of mowers,” said Eoin Murphy, general manager at Major Equipment Ltd.

Most of the equipment on the Major stand had been sold by the end of the show and the company reported having plenty of demonstrations lined up for the coming months. Being located beside Birmingham airport has added an international element to the show with visitors on the Major stand from Belgium, France and Germany.

“We’ve had the busiest Saltex show for many years,” explained Eoin. “We are definitely coming back in 2016!”
