RPR STADIUM for elite pitches

RPR STADIUM is the ultimate grass seed for UK stadiums. A dedicated winter sports ryegrass blend for stadium environments and elite pitches, the mix features a new RPR cultivar Barlibro solving the four biggest challenges faced by stadium managers—in one scientifically, and customer, proven mix.

BAR 7 remodelled for winter sports

Best-selling mixture, BAR 7 has been reformulated to include new cultivars from the BAR range. An influx of new cultivars has resulted in significant improvements in the last two years with Barorlando and Barcristalla introduced last year, and Eurocordus and Eurosport added for 2016.  As a result, the 2016 mixture contains four of the top seven varieties in Turfgrass Seed 2016.

BAR 7 is an outstanding 100% perennial ryegrass blend for use in construction or winter sports pitch renovation—with an unparalleled cleanness of cut and genetic colour.

BAR EXTREME enhanced to offer ironclad results

BAR EXTREME has been updated with Barolympic, voted 1^st for summer sports in Turfgrass Seed 2016. No other grass seed offers such a reliable combination of wear tolerance and fine-leaved aesthetics for close-mown summer sports turf.  Ideal for hard-working cricket squares, tees, fairways and walkways.

Extreme RPR – next generation grass seed

Taking Barenbrug-bred RPR technology to the next level, EXTREME RPR combines all the benefit of BAR EXTREME with a new dimension of recovery.  As with BAR EXTREME, determinate stolons enable the RPR plants to spread into the surrounding area, repairing gaps faster than anything on the market.  Extreme RPR has now been added to BAR PLATINUM, BAR MEDAL, BAR SALT & DROUGHT.

EXTREME RPR is recommended for fine turf areas maintained at a minimum height of cut of 10mm+, and is particularly applicable for divoting or overseeding high wear golf tees.

Ignite

IGNITE is a new creeping bentgrass voted #1 most dense bentgrass available according to NTEP. Now available to the UK and Ireland.

BAR FESCUE

BAR FESCUE combines 50% red creeping fescue and 50% Chewings red fescue seed. The combination of these sub-species offers the best solution for year-round performance and growth in fescue-dominant turf. The mix contains the #1 and #3-ranked cultivars from lists G2 and G3 in Turfgrass Seed 2016. As an overall mixture, BAR FESCUE has a MEAN score of 7.86 for greens use – higher than any other individual red fescue cultivar from another breeder or supplier.
