Rigby Taylor, the company at the forefront of supplying innovative products for the successful management and maintenance of turf surfaces, has launched the new Evolution knapsack sprayer range specially developed for the amenity professional user.

The system package has been designed to apply products effectively at 1 bar pressure and, with the supplied nozzles, apply a medium to coarse spray application rate of 150 litres per hectare, at normal walking speed.

Each Evolution knapsack sprayer comes equipped with 1 bar cf pressure regulator and a range of nozzles that offer operators a choice of spray swath widths as well as a nozzle for spot treating.

As the Evolution system controls many application variables, Rigby Taylor will also be supplying users with specific dilution recommendations for its range of products – meaning that the operator simply selects a suitable nozzle for the area being sprayed.

Four knapsack models will initially be available: two backpack versions having tank capacities of 15 litres and 20 litres; and compression sprayers with seven- and 12-litre tanks. The system will also be supplied with a range of optional accessories such as 3.2 or 5.4 metre extension lances, nozzle shrouds and made-to-measure booms.
