Outdoor gym equipment could be the answer but let’s not forget as long as equipment is exciting and dynamic, fitness does not have to be achieved on just outdoor gym equipment alone.

Nearly 10 years ago Proludic pioneered the MUSA (Multi Use Sports Area) concept. Now widely used in many play area designs, it incorporates a mixture of dynamic play, wheeled sports with fitness equipment and ball sports.

The MUSA was introduced as a direct alternative to the popular choice of MUGAs, which at the time were being installed to create a choice of games for girls and boys in one area. However girls felt isolated by this as primarily they were just used by boys playing football.

Proludic wanted to engage teenage girls and elderly citizens, recognising early on that this was a problem. For communities to truly connect with their equipment, they need to feel involved and inspired by it. MUSAs connect those dots.

Over the years Proludic have installed many successful MUSAs where communities still today thrive and love the equipment. With the addition of Proludic Urbanix (bi-directional hydraulic outdoor gym equipment) they can now recommend an even stronger portfolio of products.
