MAKITA’S BACK-PACK BRUSH CUTTER FOR GROUNDS CARE CONTRACTORS
- 43cc MM4 2hp 4-stroke engine
- Flexible drive and robust M10 drive spindle
- Just 12kg weight and comfortable back-pack harness
The Makita EM4350RH back-pack brush cutter is designed for use by grounds care contractors where large areas of rough vegetation need to be cleared. Powered by a 43cc 2hp version of Makita's advanced MM4 4-stroke engine, this back-pack brush cutter weighs just 12kg. With the fully padded harness it is comfortable to operate and vibrations are minimal. With the engine effectively separated from the carry frame by four isolating springs, which damp out any vibrations, the vibration effect on the operator is greatly reduced. Operator controls are at the handgrip position controlling throttle opening and cutting drive.
The Makita MM4 4-stroke engine is powerful and quiet and has very low fuel consumption. The engine has been developed in compliance with strict exhaust emission regulations to meet EPA Phase 2 and EU Stage 2 standards while smooth torque is ideal for driving the 230mm diameter star blade. With a diaphragm carburettor, primer pump, decompressor valve and spring assisted recoil starter, this MM4 engine will fire into life easily in both hot and cold conditions. From the engine clutch a flexible link takes drive to the M10 main spindle down to the blade drive head.
A useful accessory pouch is fitted at the back of the harness for carrying replacement blades and the required multi-tool spanner. In operation the Makita EM4350RH back-pack brush cutter is comfortable and easy to control, with the powerful motor driving the blade through brambles, grass and brush with ease. This machine can be easily maintained and has a large oil filling port and drain plug.
