The new Gritex SHPE 1000 compact gritter from Gritex can be mounted on a range of donor vehicles or trailer mounted.

It has a low unit weight of 155Kgs and a capacity of 750 Kgs making a total gross weight of 905 Kgs fully loaded.

The SHPE 1000 gritter is electrically powered from the vehicle and has an in cab controller. This allows the operator to control the auger speed (density of grit) spinner speed (gritting width) and also the heavy duty vibrate motor (to prevent bridging).

The SHPE 1000 is manufactured by the American market leaders SaltDogg. It is constructed from heavy duty double walled polymer for great strength without a heavy unit weight, along with stainless steel
