GROUNDSMAN INDUSTRIES was established in 1990 and has been a regular exhibitor at SALTEX since 1992. The company based in Co. Antrim N. Ireland built its foundations on performance and reliability with a unique range of Elliptical Plunge Action Pedestrian and Tractor Mounting Aerators with their wide range of attachments.

In 2002, Groundsman introduced the first Turf-sod Multi Cutter (TMC) to complement the aerators. This product evolved into the current TMC range of two and four wheel drive Turf Cutters which are cementing Groundsman’s reputation for performance and reliability and opening doors to export markets around the world.

These versatile machines can cut with precision on fine turf for relaying purposes at Golf Clubs or Turf Farms but also have the Traction and Ability to cut in the extremely rough hard conditions or in tough matted grass. The machines are compact, well balanced and easy to operate, the counter-balanced single crank blade-drive system transmit the lowest operator hand arm vibrations (HAV) levels on the market.

The Model TMC26 has two Large Diameter Drive Wheels giving extra stability and traction with the traditional caster tail-wheel behind the blade lockable for straight or curve cutting. The durable simplistic design and ease of operation make this machine a popular choice with Landscape Contractors and Hire Shops.

The Model TMC46 is a Four Wheel Drive machine with a Rear Mounted Blade. This enables the machine to cut pristine turf with High Precision making a popular choice for cutting sod for relaying purposes at Golf Clubs and Turf Farms. The four wheel drive give this machine exceptional traction and cutting ability enable it to cut in all types of extreme conditions as well.

A wide range of blades are available for the Two and Four Wheel Drive Machines for Sod-cutting from 30cm (12") to 60cm (24") wide adjustable down to 7cm (3”) depth as well as other blades and attachments including Mole-draining, De-compacting, Trench-cutting to 13cm (5”) depth plus Cable Insertion down to 10cm (4”) depth.
