English furniture maker Benchmark is the sole licensed manufacturer for the Wales & Wales collection of street and park furniture; a partnership that combines the best of British design and manufacture.

The most recent launch, shown here, is the Meko, a striking design developed specifically to address shopping centre and high street applications where flexibility and ease of configuration is essential. Its modular format makes a wide variety of configurations possible including straight, curved and ‘s’ shaped layouts. An optional armrest is available.

The Wales & Wales collection is made in England in FSC Oak and Iroko. Past clients include many local councils, St Paul’s Cathedral, Bluewater, Canary Wharf and more recently Bexhill Seafront, St Helier’s Millenium Park, Jersey and Hereford Cathedral. A bespoke design service is provided for larger projects.

Benchmark is one of the most technologically advanced workshops in the UK, employs a team of 40 craftsmen and has a full service design studio. It was the first furniture maker to win the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Sustainable Development and has FSC and PEFC certification.
