As part of a £3.1m refurbishment scheme, Furnitubes recently supplied a range of concrete benches and tables to St Peter’s RC High School in Longsight, Manchester.

Completed in May 2011, the new Pensby Concrete Table was used in conjunction with the BLS 6 Blyth Square Concrete Benches to provide outdoor seating for the school children. The benches and tables are freestanding and their cast concrete construction makes them ideal for schools; durable, vandal resistant and low maintenance.

The Blyth concrete benches were supplied in three neutral colours: yorkstone, white and charcoal, and feature a lightly polished smooth cast finish. Longer 1600mm and 1500mm rectangular benches were also supplied to the school, to create fun and unique seating arrangements for the children.

Other recent projects supplied the Blyth Concrete Bench include Aintree Hospital in Liverpool and Rhyl High Street in Wales, where stainless steel graphics from a local artist were cast into the seat to reflect the heritage of the area.
