Enviromat sedum matting - the ideal material for retrofitting roofs
Enviromat sedum matting is the ideal material for retrofitting roofs to buildings or for creating low maintenance living green roofs where loading is an issue. It’s also superb used as low maintenance ground cover.
Enviromat is grown in the UK by the producers of Q Lawns turf and MeadowMat wild flower matting. It contains seven species of drought tolerant, low growing sedums along with a native wildflower, Saxifragia granulata which flowers early in the year and is resistant to drought and frost. All of these plants are grown onto a patented matting system comprised of a carrier fleece and as much growing medium as the plants will need.
On 25th and 26th October 2011, Enviromat will be on display at the Creating Landscapes Show at Capel Manor in Enfield and Angela Lambert will be on hand to explain the product and the associated green roof build up. The show is free to visit. Register at www.creatinglandcapes.org.uk. Angela will be talking about green roofing as part of the seminar program.
Enviromat is available for use on garden buildings or on domestic green roofs of up to 50 m2 in area with an angle of pitch between 1 and 20 degrees. Enviromat is easy to install and provided the building is suitable and a simple maintenance program is put in place, will last indefinitely.
An installation service is also available as well as ongoing maintenance contracts for domestic or commercial roofs. Contact Enviromat to arrange a site visit and quotation.
