Want to transport timber without spending a fortune? The new Timber Dragon timber trailer offers excellent value for money. There are two different models:- The TC1 is perfect for use behind quads, compact tractors and 4x4s and the larger TC2 is ideal for towing behind tractors of 40hp+. The TC1 trailer has a 2 ton payload and the TC2 model has a payload of 3 tons. The maximum reach of the crane on the TC1 is 3.4m and it can lift 150kg at this point. On the TC2, the maximum crane reach is 4.7m and it can lift 300kg at this length. Both models come with the crane and grab as standard (quick release hook optional) and the Powerpack is standard on the TC1.

We have adapted the TC1 so there are a number of unique versions available depending on the type of work being done. With our modifications the trailer can come with or without brakes, for use on or off-road and with or without a tipping body which is very useful for transporting wood chip or delivering logs in “1 ton” bags. By adding over-run brakes to the TC1 it benefits from greater safety and control and new tyres make it suitable for legal towing on the road. It has 4 wheel “indespension” units for a smooth ride and a top quality Bradley heavy duty tow hitch with handbrake and jockey wheel. Our addition of a heavy duty steel floored back body to the TC1 enables much easier transportation of loose material and firewood. The body can be removed and the original timber bolsters can be refitted to keep the trailer versatile. The body is lightweight but robust and has removable drop sides and tailgate. This rear body can also feature a hydraulic tipper ram controlled from a spool block which enables quick unloading of cargo.
