Comprehensive range of aerators from Toro's Procore series

Toro’s comprehensive range of aerators has a model to suit all turf maintenance needs and applications:

Offering effective aeration up to depths of 40cm, the ProCore SR Series of deep-tine, tractor-mounted aerators alleviate subsurface soil compaction on applications spanning greens, fairways, sports fields, parks and many more besides, penetrating the compaction layer sometimes caused by traditional aeration methods.

The SR Series’ tines fracture the soil, creating channels through the rootzone that allow oxygen, water and valuable nutrients to penetrate deep into the soil profile, improving drainage and deep root growth. Turf is healthier and more vigorous as a result, in turn helping to guard against disease and making more efficient use of fertilisers while also reducing water usage.

And with an array of aerators on offer, from lightweight, precision machines for smoother, softer greens, to robust, heavy-duty models to break up soil on even the most compacted surfaces, there’s something to suit every application and operator.

The ProCore range also includes the ProCore 864 and 1298 tractor-mounted aerators, which – says Toro – are the most productive, operator-friendly wide-area core aerators available yet.

Combining the proven coring head technology from Toro’s acclaimed ProCore 648 pedestrian aerator with an improved platform, the highly advanced and productive ProCore 864 and 1298 are also exceptionally quiet and smooth in operation. Toro has increased the aeration widths of these models to deliver maximum productivity across a broad range of hole spacings. Working widths are an impressive 64in/163cm for the 864, and 98in/249cm for the 1298.

And last but by no means least is the popular and proven ProCore 648 aerator, a self-powered, vertical corer with a large 48in/122cm working width that is half to twice as wide as competitors’ models. Ideal for getting surfaces back into play quicker than ever before, the ProCore is capable of aerating 18 greens in around seven hours or a Premiership pitch in just three.
