Clearing Grass, Leaves, Conservation areas and Improving Your Sward
Grass sward quality and appearance is greatly increased by clearing dead grass, leaves and scarifying to remove moss and the thatch build up that causes it and also reducing disease harboured by these wet conditions.
Ryetec’s three range strong flail mower collectors can provide a solution for all users from large domestic lawns, small sports clubs, golf courses, conservation sites and grounds maintenance contractors. Ryetec flail collectors can cut grass leaving a fine high quality striped finish thanks to their ‘paddle’ type flails, collect all the cuttings and tip them either on the ground or into waiting trailers or skips. They can also collect leaves in autumn and can be used to clear and collect on wildflower conservation areas and even clear unwanted scrub and woody material with the heavy duty contractor range.
The three ranges comprise of the Mini, a small light weight machine designed for smaller compact tractors and situations where weight is a major consideration. The larger Professional series are designed to offer optimum performance on compact and smaller agricultural sized tractors for regular professional use in all kinds of fine turf applications. The Contractor range offers heavy duty build and performance for the most severe applications and is ideal for annual cut and collect of conservation areas where high volumes of grass need to be removed, thanks to the heavy duty build and hammer flails these machines can also clear woody scrub up to 75mm (3”) in diameter.
